The art work highlights the concept of a courtyard which have been an integral part of our ancient Indian architecture. The installation has a wooden door opening in to the painting which shows a child sitting on the chaukhat of the door which taken me back to my memories of childhood in my grandparent’s house. The sun below on the left shows the various studies done to design the sustainable building Wipro Technology. The courtyard in the painting has one of the wall elevation of the Wipro building inspired from a haveli elevation with bigger windows on the bottom to harness natural light on the lower levels and smaller deep windows on the upper levels for controlled daylight and sun.
